UMhlaba Vision foundation

Changing the Lives of South African Youth

Umhlaba Vision Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2007 by three young adults from Soweto, South Africa. Our goal is to change the lives of South African youth by creating positive youth knowledge and experiences that can make the difference in the lives of those around us. The foundation unites the issues of sports and education through the development of soccer programs. It gives the participants an opportunity to further their education and become well rounded individuals who will ultimately grow to be responsible citizens in their communities.

How it works

Creating Opportunity for scholar athletes

UVF identifies talented student-athletes and opportunities for youth through soccer. This includes educational opportunities, trials with teams abroad and potentially even collegiate scholarships. Through the annual U-17 Boys Soccer Tournament Umhlaba sponsors, we identify qualified student athletes who will get an opportunity to study in the United States.
